Wyeth Nutrition® S-26 Gold® LF is a Lactose Free Infant Formula for babies 0 to 12 months old.

 

A Formula for Special Medical Purposes, Wyeth® S-26 Gold® LF (Lactose Free) is especially designed for dietary management of lactose maldigestion/ intolerance and diarrhea for babies 0-12 months old.

 

S-26 Gold® LF Infant Formula is suitable for use as sole source of nutrition from birth up to 6 months of age.

 

Always remember, breastmilk is best for the first 6 months of life up to 2 years of age and up. Consult a doctor or health professional before using this milk supplement.

 

Wyeth® S-26 Gold® LF is available in 400g can.

 

HOW TO PREPARE S-26 GOLD® LF PROPERLY:

• Make sure to wash your hands, utensils, and drinking cup or bottle thorougly before preparing the formula.

• Boil bottle, tea, and cap for five minutes to clean thoroughly. Leave covered until use.

• Boil drinking water for 5 minutes. Allow the water to cool until lukewarm and transfer to your drinking cup or bottle.

• Strictly follow the feeding table. First, pour water into the bottle. Then, add powder using only the scoop provided, carefully levelling off the extra powder.

• Add milk powder and stir or shake until the powder is fully dissolved.

• Check temperature before feeding the baby.

• Only prepare 1 serving at a time and make sure your child consumes the drink right away.

• Dry the scoop thoroughly after use and store the scoop back into the can.

• Discard any unfinished milk and remember to close the pouch tightly after each use and store in a cool, dry place.

• Use within 4 weeks of opening.

 

CONTRA-INDICATIONS: Do not use S-26 Gold® LF in case of GALACTOSEMIA or GLUCOSE[1]GALACTOSE malabsorption. S-26 Gold® LF contains traces of residual lactose which some experts consider to be high for such disease.

 

WARNINGS:

• Unboiled water, unboiled bottles or incorrect dilution can make your baby ill. Incorrect storage, handling, preparation and feeding can potentially lead to adverse effects on the health of your baby.

• Prepare only one bottle at a time. Feed immediately and follow the instructions exactly. Do not keep unfinished bottle, discard the contents. Always hold baby while feeding. Leaving baby unattended may cause choking.

• This formula is not intended for parenteral use.
